She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley C. Carter and Mary Hall Carter; her brothers, Kent and Bill; and her granddaughter Jamie Pretorius.
She is survived by: her husband Kay V. Rees; her children, Scott (Kirk), Kris (Earl), Brett (Reggie) and Kurt (Vicki); her stepchildren, Roxanne (Gordan), Roger (Darlene), Lonnie (Patience) and Nickie (Rich); and her grandchildren, Jennifer (JC), Jonathan (Russ), Heather, Blake (Aaron) and Nicholas.
