He was predeceased by: his parents, Heber L. Hart and Rose G. Hart; and his brothers, Gerald and Richard. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Heidi Griffiths (Alan), Kimberly Hart (Casey Madsen), Melanie Ogden (Roger), Rebecca Squire (Joshua), Bradley Hart (Michelle), Matthew Hart (Marcie) and Jonathan Hart; and his sister Bonnie Bryson. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at the Church's Family Home. Viewing was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Book Hotel Field Stone Ward (400 S 2200 W, Layton, UT 84041).
In lieu of flowers, take a child or grandchild to the zoo, a movie, Dinosaur Park, or tell them a good story or just spend time with them.
