It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Walter Scott Jr. (Bountiful, Utah), who passed away on September 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Doug Scott and Deanna Scott (Hope). He is survived by: his wife Jenifer; and his children, Cynthia Eaton (Barry), Stephanie Hoff (Nate), Mindy Jolley (Dave) and Joe Scott (Allie).

Viewing was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russon Mortuary & Crematory - Bountiful (295 N Main St, Bountiful, UT 84010). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Lakeview Mortuary and Cemetery (1640 E Lakeview Dr S, Bountiful, UT 84010).
