It is with sadness that the passing of Edith Paige Bassett Hawley (Bountiful, Utah) is shared. Edith, born on June 29, 1943, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Henry Bassett and Beulah Marie Petersen; and her siblings, Jacquie and Howard. She is survived by: her children, Sherri (Jim), Bud (Shelly), Rick (Stephanie), Ginger (Curtis), Mike (Chefi), Chad (Keidy) and Robyn (Tad); her husband Jerry; and her brother Scott (Claudia). She is also survived by her children and their spouses; 33 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Val Verda 1st Ward Chapel (2633 S 50 W, Bountiful, UT 84010).
