It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garn Cleon Nelson in Bountiful, Utah, born in Redmond, Utah, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Ida Ann Taylor; his children, Stewart Nelson (Jamie), Suzanne Thain (Tracy) and Stacy Nelson; his grandson Blake Thain; his children, Heather Barrett (Bridger), Madison Beans (Marquis), Ashlee Miller (Zachary), Ray Nelson (Megan), James Nelson, Taylor Nelson (Catie), Kristi Nelson and Nicholas Peters; his great grandchildren, Khloe, Millie, Brooks, Kendric, Remi, Elle, Mila, Callum, Marley, Bonnie, Taft and Charlie; his sisters, Grace Nelson and Iris Hales (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Rhea Nelson, Elaine Nelson, Janice Harris (Allan) and Paul Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bountiful 30th Ward (650 E 2150 S, Bountiful, UT 84010).
