It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grant Dodson Averill of Bountiful, Utah, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Averill and Bernice Averill (Thomas). He is survived by : his brothers, Raymond (Nancy) and Charles Averill (Elaine); his partner Brett A. Handy; his pet Spartacus; his partner's daughter Faith; and also, Todd Waite, Colleen Schumacher, Janeen Lish, David Waite, Kalani Reed and Jennifer Burstedt. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew, two great nieces and two great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Grant would have preferred you donate to a local charity of your choosing.
