James Ralph McQuiston Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ralph McQuiston (Bountiful, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his close friend Marlene Hanks; his wife Marlene Hanks McQuiston; and his children, Max (Cami), Jay (Andria), Sonja, Marcy, Tammy (Josef) and Val (Amber). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Many remember him as one who would donate his time and resources to help in unconventional ways, such as roping loose bulls in the neighborhood streets, driving his sandbag-laden trailer down the middle of flooded roads, delivering fruit baskets and loaves of bread to friends and neighbors, and repairing broken appliances in the middle of the night.
