He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ferris F. Johnson and Barbara Spencer Johnson; his sister Shelley Gutke-Hall; his wife Julie Johnson (Casdorph) of Centerville; his sons, Shem South Jordan (Rachel), Floyd Millcreek (Bella), Paul Frazier Provo (Sarah), Eldon Midvale (Chase), Spencer Tooele (Kara), Nephi Hamilton (Hayley) and Colt North Salt (Tori); his brother John Johnson; Steven. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Missionary Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
