She was predeceased by: her parents, Juel Elias Trowbridge (Doc) and Dora Trowbridge; her husband Lee Benard; and her sisters, Lois Pickett and Janet Schoenhals.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Benard Christensen, Steven Lee Benard and Jay T. Benard (Virginia); her grandchildren, Jennifer Lee (Aaron), Kimberly Brimhall, Michael Christensen, Staci Christensen, Matthew Christensen, Jase Benard and Tj Benard; her great grandchildren, Kapri Brimhall, Libby Brimhall, Alice Christensen, Emerson Brimhall, Enzo Brimhall and Jeron Lee; and her siblings, Bill Trowbridge and Lucile VanderMeyden (Jerry).
In lieu of flowers, Joyce requested contributions be made to the Bountiful History Museum.
