He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Rigby and Laurel Daniel Nelson; his wife Jean Walk; and his siblings, Clela Harris and Carlene Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Nelson (Lisa), Cherilyn McClendon (Dan), Laurie Walker (Greg), Darren Nelson (Amy) and Lynda Neuenschwander (Brian). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.
