With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maurice Dean Knighton of Bountiful, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lloyd Wilson and Edith Eleanor Hageman Knighton; his stepfather George Robert Knighton; his siblings, Robert, Roger, Jenny and Kenneth Knighton; and his granddaughter Anne Knighton-Perez.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Page; his children, Craig Knighton (Tracy), Andrew Knighton (Cathy), Jill Lapicola (Michael), Matthew Knighton (Elizabeth) and DeAnn Knighton (Ross Barrell); his siblings, Byron, George Albert Knighton and Edith Hoskin; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Joel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Ella, Joshua of Justin, AJ, Reagan, Shelby, Amelia, Audrey, Sophia, Libby and Nina. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
