He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Bangerter and Anna Bangerter; his siblings, Vernon, Lilyan, Anna, Hazel, Josephine, Joe, Le Grande and Norene; and his son-in-law Steven Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thompson Bangerter; and his daughters, Ann (Dennis), Julie (Shane) and Carolyn (Jay). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Ward Canyon Ward Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (540 N 1200 E, Bountiful, UT 84010).
