He was predeceased by: his parents, Kingsley Barlow and Mable Collins Barlow; his grandson Daniel Barlow; and his pets, Brutus and Mitch.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Travis Barlow, Shayne Barlow, Holly Engle, Crystal Grady (C. Clint), Brooke Hess (Patrick), Brian Barlow, Katie Hotard (Scott) and Christine Olsen (Fielding); and his sisters, Kerry Henson (Larry) and Virginia "Cookie" Weekley (Ken). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
