With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph Castleton Walgren in Bountiful, Utah, who passed away on May 5, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ralph Castleton is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ralph Castleton's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hansen and Irma Castleton Walgren; his son Kent Logan Walgren; his siblings, Paul H. Walgren and Shirley W. McClure; and his grandson Mark W. Snowball.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Snowball (David J.) and Peggy Showalter (Donald L. III); his wife Wilma; and his friend Ralph.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day (1190 Bountiful Hills Dr, Bountiful, UT 84010). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
