As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Granville Hout (Ernie) and Afton Pitt; and his half-brother Jay Sorenson. He is survived by: his wife Elaine; and his children, LeAnn McGrath (Dave), Wayne Hout, J'Lynne Wolfley (Ben), Glenn Hout (Carrie), Michelle Moffat (Jeff) and Stacy Ator (Nate). He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
