He was predeceased by: his parents, Vermilla Beck and Harold LeGrand Pope; his sisters, Lorraine, Jeannine and Claudia; and his grandson James Winegar.
He is survived by: his son Scott Pope; his wife Sydna (Holbrook); his daughter Aimee Pope Winegar (Winegar); and his grandchildren, Allie Winegar Duzett, Isabel Winegar Sadler, Tessa Pope Smith and Samuel Winegar.
