It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Ewing (Bountiful, Utah), who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Shirley Jean may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edgley Owens and Elsie Amelia Sjostrom Owens; her husbands, Jay Dykman and Norman Ewing; her son Curtis; and her friend Shirley.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Renate) of Westminster and Kevin (Michelle) of Las Vegas; and her grandchildren, Erika and Ryan.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bountiful 26th Ward (200 North and 200 West, Bountiful, Utah 84010). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
