He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Loraine; his brothers, Douglas Smith and Miles Smith; his nephew Kyle Smith; his great-nephew Caleb; and his great-niece Rebecca.
He is survived by: his wife Lethia Ellis; his children, Gregory Smith (Nataliya) and Veronica Smith; his grandchildren, Mikaiella, Sasha and Steven; and his siblings, Scott Smith (June), Bobbi Smith, Barbara Smith, Kristen Coon (Aaron), Jon Paul Smith, Patricia Spicer (Robert) and Jamie Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
