With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Patricia Umberger Smith of Bountiful, Utah, born in Albany, California. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Glen Phillips Umberger and Patricia Walsh. She is survived by : her significant other Ariel; and her children, Duane Smith (Cindie), Melody Bodily (Dirk), Greg Smith (Ann), Patricia Hatch (Barry), Lloyd Smith (Estie) and Sherri Harris (Steve). She is also survived by her brother Forrest (Jan) Umberger. 28 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at 3599 S Orchard Dr, West Bountiful, UT 84010. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
