He is survived by : his children, Mitzi Jeppesen (Bill) of Mantua, Shelly Reber (Rick) of Lapoint, Brenda Hill (Cordell) of Perry and Clint Nelson (Karen) of Perry; and his siblings, Reed Nelson, Jerry Nelson and Carlene Ston. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
