With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Darlene (Jones) Heaps (Brigham City, Utah), who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Rena and Albert Blair; her parents, Alice Lithgow and Howard Lithgow; her husband Dan Rulon Heaps; her sister Marilyn Novak; her son Daniel Raymond Heaps; her grandson CJ Smith; and her great grandchild Peyton Velez.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Spicer, Diana Schultz (Rod Jr.), Renee Smith (Chuck), Valerie Heaps and Rob Bradley (Lesley); her grandchildren, Rodney Schultz III, Kevin Spicer, Carissa Smith, Jamie Watts (Patrick), Tiffany Hughes (Justin), Branden Heaps, Trevor Heaps (Lindsey), Ashley Madrigal (Kevin), Tyler Heaps, Kaylee Decker, Averile Heaps, Ashton Heaps, Adele Bradley, Rebekah Velez (Dylan), Emily Campbell (Bryce) and Megan Lara (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Rodney Schultz IV, Colton Schultz, Noah Madrigal, Tayden Schultz, Luke Madrigal, James Watts, Jaxson Watts, Bennett Hughes, Piper Velez, Henry Velez, Scot Campbell, Lennox Lara and Weston Velez. She is also survived by her beautiful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Mountain View Ward (105 Fishburn Dr, Brigham City, UT 84302). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
