She was predeceased by: her husband Thamer Ellis Brown; her son Richard (Ricky); her grandson Shad Harrop; her daughter-in-law Pamela Brown; and her siblings, Chris Allen, Fontella Dotson, Franny Sylvester and Beverly Green.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky, Vicky Amidan, Cheryl Thomson (Eric) and Steven Brown; and her brother Bill Allen. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
