He is survived by: his friend Santa Claus; his caregivers, Peggy and Melinda; his children, Chris Brightenburg (Cindy), Diane Quayle (Kurt), Randall Mark Brightenburg (Kimberle), Angela Kallmeyer (Alan), Juli Bainter (Todd) and Misty Lee Pendleton (Ken); and his brother Dee Glenn Brightenburg. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
