E'Layne Green Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of E'Layne Green in Brigham City, Utah, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Thompson Chambers and Thekla Anna Drechsel; and her former husband Carl Sterzer. She is survived by: her siblings, Armand Miller (Ellie), Stanley Chambers (Margaret), Donald Chambers (Patsy) and LaVon Chambers Johnson (Johnny); her former spouse Kiester Sidney Smith; her sons, Steven (Marilyn) and Mikel (Annette); and her husband Allen Jay Green (Red). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gillies Mortuary (634 E 200 S, Brigham City, UT 84302). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
