He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mitchell (Ted) and Aleda Mitchell; his nephew Spencer; and his siblings, Mark Mitchell and Beverley Allred (Noel).
He is survived by: his former wife JoAnne Andersen; his children, Amanda (David), Wilson of Nashville, TN and Scott (Angie); his siblings, Rex Mitchell (Kitty), DeWard Mitchell, Karla Young, Arlene Johnson (Dale), Craig Mitchell (Kristi) and Yvette Maynard; and his caregivers, Sarah, Shelby, Carly and Chelsey. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
