She was predeceased by: her mother Ellyn Sparrow; and her parents-in-law, Ernest Merton Sr. and Frances Merton. She is survived by: her brothers, Steven (LaRue) and Mark Sparrow (Shirley); her husband Ernest Merton; her children, Matthew (Tonya), Tamara, Shana (Gregg), Alyssa, Jamin, Kelby (Dar) and Katelyn; her grandchildren, Rylee, Kaden, Kieran, Traven, Lucia, Indio, Daisy and Ari; and her great grandchildren, Eliana and Harmony.
