He is survived by: his former wife Shirlene Barnes; his children, Paulene Jackson (Eric), Byron McKinnon (Sarah), Lane McKinnon (Jennilyn) and Craig McKinnon (Pamela); and his sisters, Susan Wood (Grant) and Iris McKinnon. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren.
