He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Everett Griffin and Bessie Dale Alvord; his sons, Rick Griffin (Rachel), Perry Griffin (Teresa) and Craig Griffin (Heather); his wife Shirley Marie Hall Griffin; and his son Russell Lynn Griffin. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
