He was predeceased by: his parents, Sybil Luke (Wilson) and Harold V. Luke; his wife Janet Peterson; and his siblings, Beverly Coltrin, Virginia Luke and Hal Luke.

He is survived by: his children, Laura Dickison, Robert Luke and Michelle Absher; his brother Gordon Luke; and his sons-in-law, Brett Dickison and Douglas Absher. He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
