He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Almodova and Margaret Almodova; his grandson Ammon Malufau; and his siblings, Louis, Frank, Henry, August, Daniel, Ben, Lydia Troche and Sophie Ke.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel; his children, Lori Malufau (Tasi), Dean (Britta) and David (Jackie); his grandchildren, Amaya, Aaron, Aubri, Addison, Alakai, Jaxon, Tyson and Kaiya; and his sisters, Isabel Carvalho and Margaret Dupont. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
