He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Kenneth and Mildred Marguerite Alexander (Murphy); and his sister Joyce (Rogers). He is survived by: his sisters, Carol and Shirley (Smith); his wife Chris (Anderson); and his children, Charles, Tim (Amy), Ben (Tina), Holly Brown (Drake) and April (Ryan). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
