She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Lawrence Black and Eva Bailey; her son Eric Carter; her husband Calvin; and her siblings, Rust Black, Lee Zinke Dibble and Doris Pehrson.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Elliss (Joe), Jan Wilson (Jim), Curtis Carter (Emily), Kelli Olsen (Dan) and Chad Carter (Sherene).
The family has requested no flowers.
