It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cimon (Cedar City, Utah), who passed away on September 4, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Mary Adams; his wife Rose Marie Salvo; his brother Walter; and his sister-in-law Diane. He is survived by: his stepfather Walter Welch; his children, John Cimon (Nina) of Peabody, Massachusetts and Kim Hopkins (Steven) of Cedar City, Utah; his grandchildren, Justin, Emily (Wesley), Kendra and Ashly (Bryson); his great grandchildren, Wilson, Owen and Maiya; and his siblings, Ellen Nadeau (James) of Peoria, Arizona and Michael Welch (Paula) of Beverly, Massachusetts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the South Mountain Ward (800 S Laurie Ln, Cedar City, UT 84720). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
