He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdie Peterson and Dona Peterson; and his stepdaughter Nickie Nejat. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane McBean; his daughters, Shelley Halverson (Dan), Carrie Christensen (Charles) and Kristi Peterson (Ashley); his stepchildren, Tassha Cullin (Hugh) and Alex McBean (Charlotte); his sister Patti Mortenson (Ned); and his former wife Alene Peterson. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
