With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Scott Carlile in Cedar City, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2025 at the age of 45. Though Scott may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Scott touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He is survived by: his parents, Brent G. Carlile and Kristine Cowley Carlile; his family Scott of Master's Degree; his wife Betsy Miller Carlile; his children, Jack Giles and Tess Kalea; and his siblings, Tony Carlile (Valena), Stephanie Richey (Les) and Kim Brinkerhoff (Matt).
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Suu Married Student Stake Center (520 S 1100 W, Cedar City, UT 84720).
