He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Messersmith and Elizabeth Berry Messersmith. He is survived by : his wife Nancy R. Smith of Cedar Fort; and his children, Wayne of Arizona and Carol of Cedar Fort. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and eight great, great, grandchildren.
