She was predeceased by: her mother Etta; her husband Kenneth T. Nelson; her brother Lewis Clifton Read; and her children-in-law, Kristen, Del and Steven.
She is survived by: her children, John (Carrie), Lorrie Lou Stark (Steven), Elaine Eddington (Del) and Wendy Ogden (DeLyle). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cedar Hills 5th Ward Chapel (4355 W Cedar Hills Dr, Cedar Hills, UT 84062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Just as the Covid pandemic was beginning, after touring facilities and many prayers, they decided to go into an Assisted Living facility – Summerfield Retirement in Orem, Utah.
