We announce the death of William Oliver Nelson (Centerville, Utah), who passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 92. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George William Nelson and Olive Adele Johnson; his brothers, Ray and John Nelson (Connie); his sister-in-law Geri; his son Michael Nelson; and his great grandchild Ledger J. Hansen.
He is survived by: his wife Burnadell; his children, Tearsa Daines (Brent), Daniel Nelson (Mary), Kirstin Hansen (Danny), Rachelle Pebley (Kevin), Annika Cook (Mark), Joseph Nelson (Dora), Joshua Nelson (Camille) and Jonathon Nelson (McCall); and his brother David Nelson (Monica). He is also survived by his forty-six grandchildren and forty-six great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (270 300 E, Centerville, UT 84014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
