With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Calvin Cottrell (Clearfield, Utah), who passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James C Cottrell; his stepfather Paul Sersland; his mother Madeline Sersland; and his siblings, Julieann, Sandy, Dan and Jerry.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his son Mark (Charlyn Datwyler); his daughter-in-law Kathy; his granddaughter Jada; his sister-in-law Ceva (Jerry); and his sisters, Linda and Karolyn. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
