He was predeceased by : his parents, Audrey Harris Peterson and Virgil Peterson; his daughter Summer Elliott; his granddaughter Aaliyah Elliott; his son Wayne Jr.; his brother Mark Peterson; his sister-in-law Nancy Peterson; his nephew Tig Peterson; his great-nephew John Peterson; and also Frankie Peterson.
He is survived by : his brother Denver; his former life partner Linda Reid; his daughters, Tami and Shelly; his former life partner Judy Ann Washenfelder; his grandsons, Kenneth, John, Frankie, Douglas, Brian and Jeffrey; his children, Joseph (Lettie), James, Ted, Thomas (Peggy) and Aaliyah; and his sisters, Marcia (Eugene Gronning), Sharon, Peggy and Christy. He is also survived by his wife and all his extended family.
