She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Montague and Idona Montague; her former husband Floyd Sorenson; and her siblings, Geraldine Haddad, Carol Jean Folsom and Dallas "Buddy" Montague.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Riggs; her children, Caryn Manes (Sam), Susan Olson (Robert), Sandy Konery (Vince) and Lane Riggs (Mary); her stepchildren, Steve Riggs (Lonnie), LeAnn Gerber (Duane) and Janet Wall (Brent); and her siblings, Ross Montague, Blaine Montague and Judy Olsen. She is also survived by her 59 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Book Hotel Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Clearfield City Cemetery (1050 State St, Clearfield, UT 84015).
