It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Milton Volz (Clearfield, Utah), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Patrick Martin Volz; his parents, Walter Sylvester Volz and Frances Hattaway Bowen-Volz; his in-laws, Pauline McFaul Grates and Joseph Francis Grates, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Thomas Grates and Joseph Francis Grates, III.
He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Florence Grates-Volz; his children, Cherie (Richard Bierce), Melissa Volz, Selina (Chris O'Neill) and Daniel Volz (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Nicholas Haws (Sam), Samantha Serrano, Jesse Thomas, Jonathan Haws, Sarah Thomas, Hannah Wood (Zachrey), Ashley Wood, Isabella Madrid, Rachel Bowser, Chase Dockery and Mindy Volz; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Serrano, Remington Wood-Estrada, Freya Wood, Serenity Haws and Wesley Easum; his siblings, Karl Volz (Gladys) and Karen Volz; his sister-in-law Philmaine Burks; and his pets, Ellie and Franny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In honor of his generous spirit, contributions to Pat's favorite charity, Toys for Tots, are welcome in lieu of flowers.
