With sadness, we share the passing of John Pete Urses (Cottonwood Heights, Utah). John Pete, born on April 19, 1936 in Eureka, Utah, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Urses and Petras Michael Urses (Pete); his sister Ruth; and his stepfather Newell Turner. He is survived by: his wife Beth Ann Butler; his children, Kurt (Sue), Brad (Melanie), Doug (Mary) and Karen (Geoff); his grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon), Amelia (Justin), Erik (Maya), Megan (German), Zach and Lizzie; and his great grandchildren, London, Olive, Holden, Harper, Evolet, Apollo and Iyla.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Mountain View Mortuary (3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121).
