Veda leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Veda’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lorenzo Peterson and Roxie D. Rickenbach; her husband Don; her children, Steven (Becky), Jim and Sandra (Cam); and her son-in-law Matt (Raynalyn).

She is survived by: her daughters, Raynalyn (Matt) and Dawnette (Craig); and her children-in-law, Cam (Sandra) and Becky (Steve). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and their spouses; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the LDS Chapel (1355 7200 S, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
