She was predeceased by: her brothers, Gary and Charles; and her former husband Neil. She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Engel; her children, Ben and Jessie; and her siblings, Dale, Sandy, Linda and Judy. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
She made her own clothes and sewed countless charity quilts for others (including animals) in need.
