She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Whicker and Freida Whicker (Steele); her husband Bevan Thompson; her son James; and her siblings, Bonnie and James.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Lou Jacobson (Marvin), Kenneth Thompson, Katie Johnson (Rob), Michael Thompson (Kathy) and Margie Thomas (Lynn). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

The isolation brought by COVID-19 was detrimental to two people who loved friends and visitors.
