He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Billie Kersey and Marie Kersey; his friend Linda; and his daughters, Dena and Sarah. He was also cherished by wife, daughters, and son-in-law.

The family would welcome donations in his name to the American Lung Association to aid in the research and treatment of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.
