He was predeceased by: his parents, George McDermaid and Rhoda Seamons McDermaid of Bennett's Drive-In; his wife Joyce Annette Stanworth; his son Todd McDermaid; and his granddaughter Paige McDermaid.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Lee McDermaid (Nikki) and Annette McDermaid; his grandchildren, Adam, Jaycie, Stevie, Maclyn, Mitch (BayLee), Jennifer and Declay Parker; and his great grandchildren, Brix of Emma, JJ, Blakely, Crew and Axle.
