He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Allen and Emily Margret Petersen Young; his wife Marie; his brothers, Alva Allen Young Jr., Joe Sharkey Young and Sidney Leo Young; his grandson Ty Young; and his great grandchild Sierra Sparr.
He is survived by: his children, Maxine Glazier (Scott), Kenneth Young (Sally), Russell Young (Lisa), Teresa Winsor (Colby), Richard Young (Cheryl), Darla Ewart (Micah), Robert Young (Stacey), Linette Mansouri, Bradley Young and David Young (Stacy); and his sister Emily McCollaum (Paul). He is also survived by 45 grandchildren; 65 (and counting) great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Delta LDS Stake Center (125 White Sage Ave, Delta, UT 84624). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
