He was predeceased by : his parents, LeRoy Bluemel Smith and LaVell Wright Smith; his sons, Ralph LeRoy Smith and Roger Lee Smith; and his siblings, Phillip Smith (Lorene) and Diane Jacobson (Dennis).
He is survived by : his children, Richard Smith (Merrie Jo), Russell Smith (Wendy) and Tonia Cox (Kelly); and his siblings, Douglas Smith (Laura) and Ellen Draughon (Larry). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
